EC Carpets is an Australian manufacturer of quality carpets founded on design, innovation and colour. Naturally, carpet samplers are an integral part of their business and form part of a customer’s first impression. When EC Carpets needed new bags for their carpet samplers, they chose Upac.

Upac took time to understand the EC Carpets business, and the carpet samplers that required specialist packaging. Where manual wrapping, then plain LDPE bags had been used before, EC Carpets selected a custom branded design from Upac on black re-mill LDPE. The repeated print helped to minimise costs and improve the companies branding. The bags were gusseted to allow for the thickness of the carpet samples. The rolls of branded bags were perforated to provide efficient handling. The new bags certainly gave the business a lift, when compared to previous wrapping with plain black film.
